FYF Fest: One Day, One Artist

"One of the bands that came out and dropped a record on us in 2013 that gave us hope for people playing music was Haim."
-Brandon Flowers inviting Danielle Haim to play drums for The Killers at Outside Lands

Riding off the success of their debut album Days Are Gone released late last year, the rockin’ sisters of Haim have become the darlings of Southern California while continuing to captivate audiences all around the world. Already veterans in the festival circuit playing Coachella, Glastonbury, Sasquatch!, Osheaga, Outside Lands, and more, it only makes sense that they do their hometown right with a set at FYF Fest this weekend. Today also marks the release of their new star-studded music video for the single “My Song 5” featuring A$AP Ferg and cameos from Ezra Koenig, Kesha, FYF buddy Grimes, Ariel Rechtshaid, and SNL favorite Vanessa Bayer. They’ve got friends in high places while managing to perfect their craft, pumping out catchy, upbeat rock anthems that have secured their places in just about every summer playlist this year and the last. We know for a fact that they’ll bring it this weekend, and we’re totally waiting for them to bring out the drums.
