It’s that time of year again! We’re back at it at the House of Vans with the third annual Vans x FYF House Parties. The first show of the summer kicks off Thursday, June 27th with Fucked Up, Title Fight, and Hop Along, with more rad parties to follow.

We were basically living in a dustbowl for day numba two of FYF Fest. It was a sea of sunglasses and bandanas this time around as Joyce Manor, Against Me!, Dinosaur Jr, and a ton more hit the stage.

We laughed, we cried, we browsed for vinyl and took photos with polar bears. There were carnival games and free face painting, and the tastiest handmade popsicles you’ve ever had. I’d say that maybe the weekend was all a dream, but I’ve got a gnarly sunburn and I’m still coughing up dirt, so it’s gotta be real, right? Till next year, FYF!

FYF Fest is this interesting sort of mashup of Coachella and the summer Vans House Parties. The skyscrapers of downtown LA are on the horizon, the sun is shining down, and kids are sprawled out all over L.A. State Historic Park for a weekend of fantastic tunes.
There was a little bit of everything on the menu clothes-wise, from some crazy silver capes and bandana headbands to tie-dye and Hawaiian shirts.

The atmosphere was pretty chill for day 1 of California’s FYF Fest, where we caught some of our House Party friends, FIDLAR and Chairlift.
Take a walk around if you’re going this weekend, ‘cause there’s a ton to check out. Stop by the craft booth to customize some buttons and postcards, or sign your name on the most epic of chalkboards – giant sunglasses! I even stopped to treat myself to a tasty little chocolate chip cookie sandwich from BabyCakes NYC. Thumbs up for baked goodies!

Sometimes we need to be reminded what a straight up punk rock house party feels like. It should be so down and dirty that you wake up scraping the grime from your skin, legs all bruised up, and a shoe gone missing.
This week’s Vans House Party is going to be just that, with old school punk bands H2O and 7Seconds taking to the stage alongside Brooklyn’s own Tournament.

FYF know how to put on a show. Whether it’s helping out with our summer House Parties at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, or planning LA’s FYF Fest over Labor Day weekend, they show no signs of slowing down or skimping on the entertainment.
The lineup for this year’s FYF Fest was just announced this morning, with some of our favorites, like Against Me!, Turbonegro, and Converge. Let’s just take a moment to bask in the awesomeness that is all these bands jam-packed into two days in downtown Los Angeles.
Come sprawl out in LA State Historic Park on September 1st and 2nd. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 22nd, with weekend passes starting at $77. I think we just found the perfect use for your graduation money.
As far as most of America is concerned, Memorial Day marks the real launch of summer: burgers on the grill, a whole lot of sunscreen, and the return of the Vans X FYF House Parties in Brooklyn. Chyeah. You didn’t think we were going to leave you hanging this year, did you?
The first installment of the summer series will kick off on Wednesday, June 20th with performances from The Rapture and Tanlines, as well as a set from Dave P. Party numba 2 comes a few weeks later with H2O, 7 Seconds, and special guests on July 12th.
More parties are coming throughout the summer on July 26th, August 2nd, August 16th, and August 29th, with bands to be announced.
