Our friends YACHT moved to LA recently, and their new video for the single “Shangri-La” is a love story all about their newly adopted home town. The video is a perfect day in LA with every stereotype that people love to hate about us. Look out for the camping, making weird smoothies, doing yoga, buying..um…stuff, Elysian Park, Scoops ice cream shop, skating, surfing, the LA river, a bonfire on the beach, Los Doyers and driving around in the sun. I mean, damb. The there’s a pair of white Vans in the opening shot. Yes, our lives are like this. What is all this ‘winter’ I keep hearing people talk about on twitter? Whatever.
