FYF know how to put on a show. Whether it’s helping out with our summer House Parties at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, or planning LA’s FYF Fest over Labor Day weekend, they show no signs of slowing down or skimping on the entertainment.
The lineup for this year’s FYF Fest was just announced this morning, with some of our favorites, like Against Me!, Turbonegro, and Converge. Let’s just take a moment to bask in the awesomeness that is all these bands jam-packed into two days in downtown Los Angeles.
Come sprawl out in LA State Historic Park on September 1st and 2nd. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 22nd, with weekend passes starting at $77. I think we just found the perfect use for your graduation money.

Final House Party photos

The last Vans House Party of the summer pretty much destroyed Brooklyn in its entirety. Hope you guys on the East coast are keeping safe with all that crazy weather pounding down. While you’re waiting out all those earthquake, hurricane, and tornado warnings, we’ve got some photos to flip through so you can relive all of the madness that was House Party #6 with Converge, Touche Amore, and Krallice. Last House Party of the summer

Sad day. Summer’s just about come to an end and with it comes the last of our House Parties at House of Vans. We’re closing out the summer series tomorrow night, August 24th with a few bands you guys may know.

Converge made their mark with the record Jane Doe in 2001 and, even more recently, 2009’s Axe To Fall. The band have perfected their own brand of atmospheric metal-hardcore and recently re-signed with Epitaph Records. After this show, the guys are starting work on their next album, writing new songs and all that good stuff. Check the video for “Axe to Fall” below.

Los Angeles-based Touche Amore have also been added to the lineup. They released their record Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me this past June and we’ve got a little clip from one of those tracks just below. And for all you LA folks, the band will be playing FYF Fest over Labor Day weekend. Check the rest of the bands, info, etc. at FYFFest.com.

And last but not least, we’ve got Krallice rounding out the show. These dudes are straight outta New York and they’re ready to tear House of Vans apart. Not to mention, they’ve got a ton of music for you to stream under the info section on their Facebook page, including their 2008 self-titled record and former music projects of the current band members.

Head over to vans.com/houseparties to RSVP and snag a spot for tomorrow’s show.
