FYF Fest: One Day, One Artist
After playing our House of Vans Boston and making an appearance at SXSW House of Vans with Tyler, The Creator, it was a no-brainer to place Earl Sweatshirt on the bill for FYF this weekend. The 20-year-old LA native, who already has his own label and is a prominent member of Odd Future, sounds way beyond his years, delivering tracks with a finesse that’s difficult to fabricate. In an age where young artists are starting to be taken more seriously, we’re glad Earl has stepped up to the plate and into the spotlight. But he still has time to be hilarious, especially on Instagram. Check out a couple snippets of possible new tracks for his upcoming album and watch him play FYF this Sunday.

When you add an ice cream truck, friends, music, and lots of quirky photoshoots, it’s hard not to have a good time in the big city. Thanks to everyone who made it to any of our House Parties these past few months! You made it one hell of a summer.

Kim Ann Foxman was our second performer of the night at our last House Party, serving up some intoxicating dance tracks for our audience. When she’s not at home in New York’s East Village, she’s traveling the world performing and collaborating with other talented artists in the house scene. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the coming months as she hits up huge festivals in Europe and the UK

Philadelphia DJ Dave P has been in the game for nine years running his own FIXED parties with his partner in crime JDH and making appearances at Coachella and FYF Fest. He got the night started off on a good foot and although we were bummed it was our last House Party of the summer, he kept things light and fun.

Donning his famous shades, Omar Souleyman commanded the stage and got everyone in the space moving with his electronic twist on traditional Middle Eastern music. Although his demeanor is more on the quiet side, his unique upbeat set fit perfectly with the lineup and you can’t help but want to hear more.
